Example - monitoring a Craigslist.com search using Quickthreads.

Searching for something on craigslist.com? Here's a step by step guide to setting up your own "monitoring agent" to alert you when new items are posted that match your seach.

In our example, we will search for "Little tykes" - toys for babies and toddlers.

1. Go to craigslist.com and select your geographic area. Then search for your keywords.
   

   Click on the RSS link in the lower right hand corner.

2. You will see an XML/RSS formatted document in your browser. We are interested in the location in the "Address" bar. Highlight this address, and copy (control-C) for later use.

3. Open a New browser window and load www.quickthreads.com. Click on My Account.

   Login to your account, or create a new account if you do not have one.

4. Create a New Feed.

5. Paste the URL you copied previously for the URL field, and fill in the other information as desired.

   Save the feed, and you are done!
